The 2023 WNY American Advertising Awards were purple & pink. This year, they`ll be blue & green! We`re excited to transform campus into Camp Wannawinanaddy tonight! Congratulations again to Kelsey Sikora, `23, who won Student Best in Show last year & Lindsay Neilson, `21, who won the Future Star Award. (And a whole bunch of other awards, too.) 🤩✨

Last week we invited students who have been accepted into our Honors Program to join us for dinner in the Commons. It was an opportunity for them to explore campus, get to know their future classmates & try out the (v tasty) food that Chef Tony whipped up just for them. 🧆 Acceptance into the Honors Program comes with a $12,000 scholarship, a private student lounge & several other exclusive perks. 🤩 This group hasn`t taken a single class here, but we`re already proud of their accomplishments. 👏🏽

I found myself taking charge of group projects and stepping out of my comfort zone, which has carried over tremendously to my current career as an Assistant Vice President at M&T Bank. I love the constant challenges that I face in my every day duties, as well as working with the most incredible team I have ever had to pleasure to be apart of. My advice to future Vikings is to remember that progress isn’t always linear, and every little thing you do to further achieve your goals is a step in the right direction."

The student body at Villa Maria College is amazing. We’re not caught up in silly segregations based on popularity or hobbies. Everyone gets along—the atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. We are like a giant family.
